What are we talking about, you ask? Well, the cafe restaurant 10:31 by Chef M, of course.
The Beginning
This charming bakery café and restaurant is the newest addition to the island’s growing number of notable gastronomic destinations. Located a few minutes away from Tagbilaran’s main port, it can be found on M. Paras Street, right across San Antonio de Padua church.
Starting out as a flourishing pastry shop in Tubigon, Bohol, Chef M’s loyal clientele have been delightfully served with her scrumptious pastries for many years. Aside from that, she and her team also catered all kinds of events with her wonderful cocktails and delectable dessert buffets. No wonder then that as time passed, clients started to clamor for more of Chef M’s delectable treats and catering services. Finally, and with the help of her daughter and some like-minded business partners, Chef M came up with the concept of 10:31.
A brand characterized by strong family values, Chef M prides herself in putting God at the center of everything she does, especially in business. As a result, she turned to the Bible for some inspiration.
Taken from the verse found in 1 Corinthians 10:31, Chef M and her associates came up with the restaurant’s delightfully unique name.
The Nosh
Wanting to offer her loyal clientele something more, Chef M will be serving not only her usual tasty sweets. There’s also an array of succulent meat, pasta, and seafood gourmet-style dishes as well as appetizers and fresh salads… all concocted to deliver the most delectable epicurean experiences to diners.

The Dining Experience
Aside from the excellent food, 10:31 by Chef M is also set in a charming venue with quaint decor and is efficiently run by a wonderfully well-trained staff, who actually went through some rigorous training in preparation for the bakery cafe’s opening.
One of the most important factors that make for an enjoyable dining experience is not only the scrumptiousness of the food but also the quality of the service. It’s really something that we value in an establishment and a factor that would turn us into satisfied, as well as repeat, customers. Not many restaurants offer both qualities, so it’s always quite a delight to find one that does.
If this charming little bakery restaurant were nearer, it would probably be among our most fave hangouts. Needless to say, this will surely be our number one destination every time we visit Bohol.
